Daily Duas for Ramadan

Ramadan is here and if you’re like me you’re probably looking for ways to make it more meaningful. One of the easiest ways to stay connected is through Daily Duas for Ramadan.

I’ve put together these daily 30 Duas for Ramadan you can recite and reflect on each day (click at the bottom of this article). You’ll also get a Ramadan daily duas PDF cards you can download and keep on your phone or print and stick them on your fridge, inside a Ramadan diy calendar or carry them in your bag.

Looking for duas for Iftar, Suhoor, and other special Ramadan moments? Check out my General Ramadan Dua List (not daily duas).

Top tip: I recommend reciting and memorizing one daily dua for Ramadan each day. Most are short, easy to remember, and perfect for your daily dua memorization Ramadan goals. These include duas for Ramadan in English, duas for Ramadan in Arabic as well as a transliteration.

Here is how to make Dua:

  1. Start your Dua by praising Allah ﷻ . Use many names and attributes of Allah ﷻ when you make Dua. The main names to use are Rab, Rabi, or Rabbana. Take your time and really glorify Him (see dua below)
  2. Send your Salaam to Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) (see dua below).
  3. Say the Duas on this list or any others you know.
  4. End your Dua by praying for all Muslims.

What Do you Say Before Dua?

✨Praise Allah ﷻ

Transliteration: Allahumma lakal-hamdu anta rabbu-samawati wal-ardi wa man fihinna, wa lakal-hamdu anta qayyimus-samawati wal-ardi wa man fihinna, wa lakal-hamdu anta noor-alsamawati wal-ardi wa man fihinna.

Translation: O Allah ﷻ: All the Praises are for You: You are the Lord of the Heavens and the Earth. All the Praises are for You; You are the Maintainer of the Heaven and the Earth and whatever is in them. All the Praises are for You; You are the Light of the Heavens and the Earth.

✨ Send Prayers to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)

Translation: O Allah! Send duas upon Muhammad and upon the followers of Muhammad, just as You sent duas upon Ibrahim and upon the followers of Ibrahim. Verily, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious. And O Allah ﷻ! Send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the followers of Muhammad, just as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim and upon the followers of Ibrahim. Verily, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious.

Creating Your Ramadan Dua List

Duas can also be more personal and you can create your own list and ask Allah ﷻ for whatever you want. Maybe you’re worried about a loved one’s health. Maybe you’re struggling with a habit you want to break. Remember nothing is too big for Allah ﷻ- do NOT be shy and ask for the impossible. Tell Allah ﷻ your fears, your hopes, your dreams.

How you can create your own Ramadan Dua List that is more personal:

  1. Reflect on Your Needs: Think about what you want to ask Allah ﷻ for spiritually, emotionally, physically and financially.
  2. Include Duas for Others: Don’t forget your family, friends, and the wider Ummah. What I find helps is writing a list of their names to make dua.
  3. Use Categories: Break your list into sections—health, guidance, forgiveness, gratitude, and personal goals.
  4. Keep It Accessible: Whether it’s a handwritten list or a digital note on your phone, make sure it’s easy to find.
