Essential Ramadan Dua List to Supercharge Your Worship

ramadan dua list

Ramadan is not just a regular month. Every year it comes and when our iman needs it the most and makes us all feel hopeful and blessed. I don’t know about you but it always ends so fast that I find myself yearning for those Ramadan days. It is a major opportunity. An opportunity to cleanse our hearts, strengthen our faith, and reconnect with Allah ﷻ through worship, reflection, and dua. But with so many emotions, responsibilities, and spiritual goals packed into these 30 days, it can be easy to forget the duas we intended to make. Having a Ramadan Dua List is a great way to keep on track and not lose focus.

Ramadan Dua List:

Dua for Arrival of Ramadan

اَللّٰهُمَّ سَلّمْنِيْ إِلى رَمَضانَ وَسَلّمْ لِي رَمَضانَ وَتَسَلَّمْه مِنِّي مُتَقَبَّلا

Transliteration: Allahumma Sallimni ila Ramadan wa Sallim li Ramadan wa Tasallamhu Minni Mutaqabbala

Translation: O Allah! Preserve me until Ramadan, safeguard Ramadan for me (by making the conditions in it such that I can take maximum benefit from it) and accept it from me (receive my deeds with acceptance). (Kanzul Ummal #24277)

This dua emphasizes three key aspects: asking for safety and good health until Ramadan, the ability to fully benefit from the month, and the acceptance of good deeds by Allah ﷻ. The importance of sincerity in worship during Ramadan is highlighted, stressing that all actions should be for Allah ﷻ’s pleasure to ensure they are accepted.

Dua of Sighting the New Moon

When the Prophet (ﷺ) saw the new moon of the lunar month, he would offer this dua:

‏اللهم أهله علينا بالأمن والإيمان والسلامة والإسلام، ربي وربك الله، هلال رشد وخير‏

Transliteration: Allahumma ahillahu ‘alaina bil-amni wal-iman, was-salamati wal-Islam, Rabbi wa Rabbuk-Allah, Hilalu rushdin wa khairin

Translation: O Allah, let this moon appear on us with security and Iman, safety and Islam. (O moon!) My Rabb and your Rabb is Allah ﷻ. May this moon be bringing guidance and good

Transliteration: Allahumma Asumu Gadallaka Fagfirli Ma Qaddamtu Wa Ma Akhartu
