Ramadan is a time for reflection and growth. Journaling can help you connect with yourself and your faith. That’s why I’m sharing Ramadan journal prompts to guide your thoughts. These prompts will help you set intentions, express gratitude, and deepen your spirituality and ibadah (inshallah).

- What is one bad habit you want to leave behind before Eid?
- What is your favorite iftar meal, and why?
- Draw a picture of your dream Eid celebration!
- What is the first thing you will do on Eid morning?
- If you were in charge of decorating for Eid, what would you do?
- What is your favorite Ramadan iftar memory?
- What is something kind you did for someone today?
- Who is someone you want to make dua for today, and why?
- What are three good deeds you want to do today? How will these make someone’s day brighter?
- How can you help your family have a more blessed Ramadan?
- How can you be a better sibling, child, or friend this month?
- If you were to organize a community iftar, what would it be like?
- What would you say if someone asked, “Why do Muslims fast?”
- What is a hadith you learned this Ramadan?
- What is one sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ that you want to revive in your home this Ramadan?
- What is something kind you can do for your parents this Ramadan?
- How does giving sadaqah (charity) bring barakah (blessings) in your life?
- List five things in your life that you often take for granted but should be grateful for.
- What are three names of Allah ﷻ that bring you comfort, and why?
- How do you feel when you raise your hands in dua?
- What is one answered dua from the past that you are grateful for?
- Write a personal dua you want to make this Ramadan.
- If you could ask Allah ﷻ for one thing in this dunya (world) and one thing in the akhirah (hereafter), what would they be?
- How do you want to feel by the end of Ramadan?
- What are your three biggest goals for this Ramadan?
- What is a small habit you can start in Ramadan that you want to continue after?
- What are some distractions that keep you from making the most of this month, and how can you avoid them?
- How did your Ramadan this year compare to last year’s?
- Reflect on a Quranic verse that inspires you during this holy month. What lessons does it teach?
- Write about your experience reading the Quran this month. How has it influenced your thoughts and actions?
- What surah (chapter) of the Quran do you want to memorize this month?
- How can you balance your daily responsibilities (like school or work) with your spiritual goals this Ramadan?

- Has fasting exposed habits you didn’t realize were controlled by your nafs?
- How does fasting help you understand patience, self-control, and the struggles of others?
- What is one Islamic teaching you’d like to embody more fully? How can you implement it in your daily routine?

- How can you make your suhoor and iftar healthier and more intentional?
